Senior Session "FYI"
(If you follow these tips, you will look great and have an awesome experience)
*Make sure to eat before your session. You don't want to be miserable because you are hungry.
*Sleep: try to get a good nights rest the night before your shoot.
*Avoid sunburn: doesn't look the best for your pictures.
*Hair: Be sure to play with hairstyles before hand to see what you like, don't try something new the day of your shoot. You may even want to have a professional do your hair for you. Use some extra hair spray to help your style last through the whole shoot. Guys: get a haircut (if you need) about a week before your shoot, also be clean shaven if you normally do not have facial hair.
*Makeup: Wear what you normally wear, just slightly darker than normal. Pay close attention to eye makeup as your eyes with be a focal point for many of your photos.
*Nails: Your hands may be showing in some pictures so make sure if you have your nails painted that the polish is not chipped, don't forget about your toes too!
*Scars/Birthmarks/Acne: Some can be removed but only if you request it. If you would like something removed, please let me know at or before your session.
*Clothing: Accessories are a great thing to bring to help achieve different looks. For example: jackets, sweaters, scarves, hats, belts, jewelry, etc. You want to have several different outfit changes that range from dressy to casual.
Try your clothing on in advance to make sure it fits properly. Bend over, sit down etc in them. You will be in different positions and you want to make sure they cover you and you are comfortable. If you are wearing something with no straps or skinny straps, be sure you have the proper undergarments so that they do not show. GUYS and GIRLS: Make sure all clothing is clean and wrinkle free.
*Remember you still want to look like you in your pictures!
What to bring:
*Props: Props are a great way to show who you are and what you like. They will help reflect your personality in your photos.
*Sports: Feel free to bring sports equipment (ball, mitt, bats, sticks, pompoms, etc)
*Music: If you play an instrument, bring it along! If you play the drums and can't bring one, bring some drum sticks.
*Class Ring: If you have one please bring it along
*Misc: Dance shoes if your a dancer, books if you love to read, uniform if you volunteer at a fire dept, etc
If you are going to college and have any shirts, etc that have the college on bring them. Likewise if you are going into any branch of the military.
